Character (Original Universe)
Name: Elena
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Canon: Final Fantasy VII Compilation
Canon Point: Before Crisis - After being rescued off a ShinRa truck that had been hijacked by AVALANCHE
History: Wiki-Link - Before Crisis
Personality:  Elena is the quintessential Midgarian teenager growing up in the Slums where being street-smart and able to defend oneself was a requirement. Especially so when working as a bartender in the infamous Wall Street Market while in high school with an older sister who was part of the questionably nefarious Turks and a father who served as a professor at the ShinRa Military Academy.

The commonplace sisterly-competitive relationship was not hard to miss when comparisons between herself and older sister Gun are made. Already one to bristle at the sight of Turks at her place of work, the slightest provocation is enough to cause Elena to loose her forced, calm indifference and spit back childish retorts when being chastised. Elena does this during one particular interaction between Shotgun when returning to get an item left behind. Shotgun, quick to point out her scatterbrained behavior, drives Elena into being quip and short with the Turk. Her statements, which are usually immature attempts of being haughty, often come around to her claimed desire to not join the Turks and how doing so will prevent her from getting in their way.

Yes, despite all her statements about not wanting to be a part of the Turks, there is a small part of her that still does. It was during this short period that Shotgun pressed as to why Elena disliked the Turks and Elena, in turn, wasn't able to fully explain. It was the first time that anybody had really questioned it and, after Shotgun had left Elena questioned herself as to why it was she worked so hard if she had no plans of joining the Turks. Elena even goes so far to even help the Turks without being pushed or asked, provides Shotgun with necessary information about the truck they're riding in and who is driving it. It is a subtle gesture that, intrinsically, Elena knows that she's more bark than bite when it comes to her disdain  for the Turks.

It might not be so far to say that Elena is a bit of a rebel. After following her sister’s footsteps in training with firearm, Elena suddenly dropped the weapon classes as a way to differentiate herself from her sister. It was a move that was well worth it, her skills becoming recognized within her classes and being identified as a prodigy. She takes a great amount of pride in her skill-set, sometimes to the point of ego. That ego is kept well in check for, despite her skill, she can be clumsy in nature and often leave things behind.

Elena has a tendency to take on responsibility that is often outside of her scope, looking into situations and seeking ways to resolve them without requesting assistance from the proper authorities or individuals. While her intentions are good, it does cause her to find herself in more precarious situations. Take for example how she followed three Ravens until they were lost and then was later kidnapped by said group for being a witness. She maintains her cool, however, and utilizes any and all resources to assist others in helping bring the issue to resolution. This is also seen later within the cannon, when during a visit to Wutai Elena, frustrated with Reno and Rude's lack of professionalism and seriousness about the mission, makes the decision to take matters into her own hands. However, because of this decision, she wound up hanging upside-down on a mountain ledge with another unfortunate captive and required rescuing.

To: Alleged Heroes

I find it strange that we were brought here, against our will, to be a "hero". That's a lot of pressure to put on somebody's shoulders - especially somebody who is ripped from their homes and brought to this foreign place. What exactly do we owe these people and why should we even bother? I sure didn't sign up for this and its pretty rude to just be up and taken out of our own worlds just to benefit theirs.

So...what if we didn't bother being what they expect us to be and, instead, look for a way home? What's the worst they could do? Scold us? We've got powers that they don't.

Not that I'm saying we upright revolt or anything, but... I'm just saying that this just is just a really shitty situation. Wouldn't you agree?

Moogle Name:  Shenra
Moogle Gender: Male
First Job: Monk
Second Job: Dragoon
Limit Break: Last Call: When her limit is met, Elena is able to conjur a wooden tray that is then thrown to stun her enemy/ies. Once the enemy/ies is stunned, Elena unleashes a combo of
kicks and punches as a door magically shows up. The final strike is a swift kick to the ass while she's holding on to the back of their collar/scruff of the neck that helps Elena lift them above her head before she tosses the enemy/ies through the door, which then slams shut once the enemy/ies passes through it.
